On this site you will find some of the 'Ready to Read' series

books that we read at school. Browse through the books and

you might recognise some that you have read with a teacher at school!
You can click the button that says 'colour wheel level' and then choose
which colour books you usually read and take home.

There are also some cool poems that you could read with your family and

illustrate - just like we do at school on Fridays! You could choose to highlight
(or circle) the rhyming words or sight words you know before you start drawing.

Writing:

Take a look at the picture prompts below. Choose your favourite one to write a story about!

Think about these questions before you start writing:

What happened before the photo was taken?

How did they get into this situation?
What is happening in the picture?
Who else might be there?

What might happen next?

This website is very easy to use and allows you to

practise some basic facts. The aim is to write the

answer in as quickly as you can! You can try to
beat your number of correct answers each day,

or even time

yourself each day and see if you can get faster at
solving the questions!

Number ordering:

To play this game, press the green 'play game' button in the top right corner of the                                                        screen. From there you can choose to order or sequence numbers. This game is                                                            great for practising our Number recognition and making sure we can put numbers                                                        in the correct order. The sequencing activities help us practise our skip counting                                                           too! â€‹
